Connect your booking system

Import your tours from Bokun, iTicket, Bilberry, Bookspot and Zaui and sell them with live availability.

Panion does not keep its own copy of your availability. You connect the booking system you already use, pick the tours to import, and every price, seat and ticket is read from it live. A booking made on Panion lands in your system like any other sale, and your manifest, sales and the Partner API read from it.

  • Bokun
  • iTicket
  • Bilberry
  • Bookspot
  • Zaui

Owners and admins connect a booking system in Oracle: Settings, then Apps. The same list opens from Add activity on your tour list.

Bokun

  1. In the Bokun extranet, open Settings, then API keys, and add a key for Panion.
  2. Copy the access key and the secret key (Bokun shows the secret once).
  3. In Oracle, open Apps, choose Bokun, paste both keys and pick the tours to import.

iTicket

iTicket gives Panion access through a booking channel you create for Panion. Its API key is all Panion needs.

  1. In iTicket, open Sales and Distribution and create a booking channel for Panion with the external type OCTO Open API.
  2. Assign the products you want Panion to sell to that channel, on the price list with the commission you agreed with Panion. Only products on the channel can be imported.
  3. Copy the channel's API key and paste it in Panion. Test connection shows which products the key can see; nothing is booked or changed.
  4. Connect, then choose the tours to import. They land in your tour list to review, as with any booking system. Guests can book them once your payouts are set up.

Who does what

You or your iTicket administrator do steps 1 to 3: only your iTicket account can give Panion access to your products, so Panion cannot do it for you. No access to Sales and Distribution? Ask iTicket support to create a Panion booking channel with your products and send you its API key.

If the test says iTicket did not accept the key, check that you copied the whole key from the Panion channel and that the channel is active with products assigned. A test that works but lists no products means the channel has none assigned yet.

After you connect

  • Imported tours appear in your tour list. Review the copy and photos before you share them.
  • Prices, availability and tickets always come from your booking system, so change them there.
  • New tours you add in your booking system show up when you choose Add tours on the connected system in Apps; Panion never imports them on its own.
  • Disconnecting removes the imported tours from Panion. Past bookings stay.
