About Panion

What is Panion?
Panion is the network for people who know places. You curate your favourite spots, get a personal page and a link to share, and earn when travellers book through you. Every recommendation has a real human's name and face on it. No algorithms, no faceless brands.
Why isn't this just another booking site?
Because nobody trusts a faceless website anymore. Travellers want a recommendation from someone who's actually been. Panion is built so every link, every list, and every page traces back to a real person you can put a face to.
Is Panion only for tour guides?
No. The strongest Panions are usually regular people. Airbnb hosts, locals who love their city, expats, friends who always plan the trip, restaurant owners. If you'd already recommend it to a friend, you can be a Panion.
Where does Panion work?
We're starting in Norway, where the network is strongest, and growing from there. If you've got local knowledge somewhere else and want to be one of the first Panions in your spot, get in touch.

For Panions

How do I become a Panion?
Sign up free, pick the spots and experiences you actually recommend, and we'll give you a personal page with a link and QR code. Stick it in your welcome book, your bio, your group chat, wherever your friends and guests already find you.
How much do I earn?
Around 10-20% of every booking that comes through your link, depending on the activity. We track it in real time, and you get paid monthly. No targets, no minimums. Only earn when someone you sent actually books.
Do I have to sell anything?
Nope. The whole point is that you're not selling. You're just sharing what you'd recommend anyway. Panion is your wingman: we handle the booking and the payout, you stay yourself.
Can companies be Panions?
Yes, but only if there's a real person fronting the recommendations. Hotels, hostels, even tour operators. The Panion page belongs to a human at the company, not the company itself. Faces convert, logos don't.

For travellers

How does booking work?
You arrive on a Panion's page through their link or QR code, pick what looks good, and book through the secure Bokun checkout. You get your confirmation immediately. Same process as any booking site, except a real person stood behind the recommendation.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellation policies are set by each operator and shown clearly before you book. Refunds run through Bokun under the operator's policy, usually a full refund if cancelled at least 24-48 hours in advance.
How do I find a Panion?
Most of the time, they find you. Your Airbnb host hands you their link. A friend shares theirs before your trip. The host of the place you booked has a QR code in the welcome book. Eventually we'll have a public directory; for now, the magic is in the personal hand-off.
