Start your Arctic adventure with a comfortable 90-minute bus ride from Tromsø city center to the stunning Tamokdalen Valley, home to our wilderness camp, Camp Tamok. This remote location offers a true escape into Norway’s pristine Arctic nature. Upon arrival, your experienced guide will greet you and provide thermal suits, boots, and gloves to ensure you stay warm and comfortable in the Arctic winter. After a brief safety introduction and sledding instructions, the excitement begins! You’ll team up with another guest to share a dog sled, pulled by a team of energetic huskies. Take turns as the musher, guiding the sled through snow-covered trails, or relax as a passenger and soak in the stunning Arctic landscapes. Halfway through, you’ll switch roles, giving everyone the chance to experience both the thrill of leading the team and the joy of the ride. After your dog sledding adventure, visit the husky kennel to meet and interact with our friendly sled dogs. Warm up with a hot meal and drink by an open fire inside a traditional Sámi lavvu tent.
