We had a wonderful experience with our guide Matous and driver Thomas during the Northern Lights trip on 21st March 2026. The tour started right at 6:30 pm and continued until we returned around 3:00 am. Despite very cloudy conditions throughout the evening and night, their dedication and effort were truly commendable. They actively chased clear skies, driving us for around 5 hours from Tromsø towards the Finland border in search of better conditions — an amazing chase — and thanks to their persistence, we were still able to witness the Northern Lights. A special mention to Thomas for his excellent driving. The roads were icy and snowy, but he handled the vehicle with great skill and maintained all safety precautions throughout the journey, making us feel completely safe and comfortable. Also, a special thanks to Matous for capturing such amazing photos — both of the landscapes and of us. We really appreciate the effort and the beautiful memories you helped create. Thank you both, Matous and Thomas, for your incredible dedication and for going the extra mile (literally!) to make this experience truly memorable for us.

Absolutely incredible! Viktor and Francesca (I’m sorry if I’m spelling your name wrong) are extremely knowledgeable and friendly tour guides. Seeing the lights can be a hit or miss, but these two ensured that we had a memorable and comfortable journey nonetheless. Eventually our patience paid off and we ended up driving towards Finland to catch the lights. Viktor’s a fantastic professional photographer too. You’re in for some great memorable pictures with this tour group, 10/10 would recommend!

My wife and I booked a Northern Lights hunt while visiting Tromsø and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Koren was very knowledgeable and constantly monitored weather conditions to take us to areas with the clearest skies. His dedication really showed as he and the driver drove us to multiple locations to maximize our chances of seeing the aurora. We were lucky enough to witness beautiful green aurora curtains and pillars dancing across the sky—an unforgettable experience. Koren also helped with photography tips so we could capture some amazing long-exposure photos. They were also very accommodating to my wife, who is pregnant, making sure she was comfortable throughout the trip and never rushing us while we enjoyed the moment. Highly recommend this experience if you’re visiting Tromsø and hoping to see the Northern Lights!

Jan was incredible and extremely considerate!! We had the best night - we drove an hour out of the city to a spot with clearer skies, beautiful mountains and the intensity, colors, and timing of the lights could not have been better. We got very lucky with such bright lights for over an hour. Jan knew exactly what he was doing and was eager to take our photos, keep the group together, and educate us about the lights. We had a small group which I think is much more efficient and more intimate than the larger group bus. He answered all our questions well - definitely recommend booking a northern lights tour with this company and especially with Jan.

Our experience was nothing short of perfect! We got to see the Northern Lights in all its glory dancing for us, and it was beyond magical! Thanks to our guide, Koren, we had a perfect spot for the evening, despite being a really busy night with many buses leaving the town to chase the lights, he managed to get us to an exquisite spot that wasn’t crowded at all, and our group had the privilege to have it all to ourselves! He was also super knowledgeable about the lights and shared a lot of interesting information with us, and on top of that was also a superb photographer! The drive also went super smooth despite the slippery and often dark roads, thanks to the expertise of our driver for the night, Alex. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, definitely would recommend!

Nice experience
We went on the snowmobile tour from Tromso; this activity takes place at Nordkjosbotn, in coordination with Heggeli adventures. We drove with Baban (?) from Notthern Lights Safari who was good with instructions and tips. Sebastian, Gurt and Matthias were our guides and we took turns driving through open areas as well as marked trails through some trees. Gurt did give us about 2-3 mins at the end to go fast before ending the tour. Warm boots, suits, balaclavas, mittens and helmets were provided. We did have to wait for about an hour for another batch of guests to finish though. We noticed that they had a blackboard inside, noting all the tour operators that were scheduled for the day, and the timing could have been better managed. Maybe keep one snowmobile outside, and do the demo as soon as a group of guests arrive, AND/ OR keep more suits, helmets, etc., so that the second group is already dressed and when the first arrives. Note: licenses were not checked.
