Hunting the Northern Lights by Snowmobile

Your tour starts with either a pickup from your hotel in Kirkenes, or meeting up at the Snowhotel reception. Your guide will show you to the dressing room, where warm gear is provided. Before departure, you will receive a full safety briefing and a hands-on training sessionon how to drive a snowmobile, making sure everyone feels confident. Even if you have never driven a snowmobile before, you will be taught everything you need to know.

You will ride two people per snowmobile and take turns driving, so everyone gets a chance to try. Once ready, we head out onto the fjord ice, leaving city lights behind and immersing ourselves in complete darkness for optimal Northern Lights viewing. Along the way, we make stops to enjoy the silence, take photos, and look up at the night sky. With a bit of luck, the Northern Lights will appear and you'll get to enjoy an unforgettable Arctic evening.

• The northern lights are a natural phenomenon and seeing them on the night of your tour cannot be guaranteed. If the northern lights do not appear, no refund will be issued.

Restrictions:

• You must be at least 18 years old and hold a category B driving license to drive the snowmobile.
• The minimum age to join as a passenger is 10 years.
• This tour is not accessible for wheelchair users.
