Join us for an unforgettable day at Camp Storm where you’ll get a true taste of life above the Arctic Circle. Whether your adventure begins with meeting our huskies, exploring the dog yard, or settling in for storytelling, each part of your visit offers something unique, personal, and deeply rooted in Northern traditions.
Your experience begins with a scenic 1-hour bus ride from Tromsø. After meeting your enthusiastic husky team at the camp and provided with warm outdoor gear and boots, you’ll learn how to safely handle a sled and then set off into the snowy landscape. You’ll drive in pairs, taking turns as musher and passenger, covering 3 to 4 kilometers over 30 to 40 minutes (subject to weather and snow conditions).
Dog sledding is an authentic and thrilling way to connect with nature, powered by the energy of the Arctic’s most loyal animals. But this visit is about more than sledding. You’ll also get a behind-the-scenes introduction to how we care for our dogs throughout the year including how we balance activity with rest (with weekly stays in a secondary camp for relaxation), ensure proper nutrition, and support each dog’s physical and mental well-being.
Between activities, you’ll be invited into our warm and cozy cabin for coffee and a traditional Norwegian snack. Here, we share stories about Arctic life from the shifting extremes of weather and light through the seasons, to the rich traditions of Sámi culture and the deep connection between people, animals, and nature in the North.
This is a journey into the heart of the Arctic - not just to see it, but to truly feel it.

I joined the Husky Sledding activity today with Norwegian Travel, and it was hands-down the highlight of my trip to the Arctic. The entire experience was well-organized, professional, and absolutely exhilarating. I want to give a special shout-out to our incredible guide, Frederieke. She is truly one of a kind! Her kindness and passion for the dogs made us feel welcome from the very first moment. Not only was her service attitude exceptional, but she was also incredibly helpful throughout the day. She shared so much fascinating knowledge about the huskies and the Arctic environment, making the experience both fun and educational. Driving the sled through the stunning snowy landscapes was a dream come true. The dogs are well-cared for and full of energy. If you are in Tromsø, do not miss this! Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We made an unexpected stop when our guide spotted a glimpse of the aurora—and it turned out to be the most breathtaking moment of the entire trip. Standing there, watching the lights dance across the sky with our own eyes, felt absolutely unreal. Julio and Valerie then took us to a final spot by the beach, carving a path through the snow just for us. Under the glowing sky, they set up a cozy bonfire, served us hot chocolate and snacks, and patiently captured every moment for us. It wasn’t just a tour—it was an unforgettable experience filled with warmth, wonder, and magic

Maria and Julio were exceptional and what they do. They were able to tell us these signs behind the northern lights as well as find the various colors. They are personable, kind and attentive. They continue to help. Find the best shot so that our experience was wonderful. When you come to Tromso I recommend highly that you seek out their tour. They covered multiple languages and are very knowledgeable and personally I give them five stars out of five stars.

We had a wonderful time on the whale watching cruise! Once in the whale watching area, we managed to see a whole pod of orcas and multiple humpback whales, which was a fantastic experience. Maja and Anna were engaging and enthusiastic hosts and we learned a lot about whales, even testing this knowledge through a Kahoot! The scenery was stunning and it was a brilliant day. We even managed to see the Northern Lights on the trip back! Tips for others planning to book this tour: Wrap up as warm as possible! Bring your own lunch if you are vegetarian or vegan, as there are not many options on board.

The cruise was one of the most beautiful experiences. Starting with the reception, the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. Our initial meeting was at the office, after which we headed to the ship. We received a wonderful welcome onboard, and one of the staff members personally escorted us to our cabin. The room was expected to be small due to the size of the ship, but it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. As for dining, breakfast was not a full buffet—only a few simple items were available, while the rest had to be ordered from a limited menu. Lunch and dinner, however, were quite good; the food was tasty, clean, and of high quality. The staff were exceptionally polite and hospitable. They explained the different types of whales and the reasons behind the appearance of the Northern Lights. Yes, the cruise is expensive, but it is truly worth it for several reasons. First, it saves you from long bus tours that can last up to six hours. While on the ship, you can comfortably watch the Northern Lights from multiple locations and on several occasions, which saves you from booking separate tours. Whale watching is also included, which is one of the main activities in Tromsø. In addition, the cruise includes a comfortable overnight stay, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as educational explanations about everything you see. It is truly worth it and highly recommended.

I had a great day with beautiful landscapes and a very friendly, hospitable and SUPER PRO Team: Jenka, Lauti and Bendik, thank you for this memorable day! 😍🙏 The base camp was well-organised, there was toilet and a warm place to get dressed. Our hosts cared about everyone to be dressed-up warm and safe enough in comfortable dry-suites, then we had the needed instructions for kayaking. Our guides gave us detailed instructions, checked everyone's dry suites twice, helped us in case of any question, and set the kayaks carefully for us to be able to paddle and raw comfortably. They were really there for us in any case and they really cared about their guests, we had nice and funny times on water. 🥰 We were lucky with the weather: there was no any wind, Mother Nature greeted us on a peaceful way. ☺️ We were rowing around 2,5 hours with 3-4 stops. Well, it was a bit difficult and I had muscle aches the day after 😄 but it was great to spent my time actively and especially to see the beauty of this fjord. C'mon yaa I was kayaking in the Arctic, WOW 😄 🥰 And I don't do much sport generally but I could do it. ☺️ We could see many seals in a harbour, they were shy but very curious, once we realised that we were surrounded by seals on every direction 😅😅😅 On our way back to the camp our journey was breath-taking, the fjord looked like a still water surface ... like a mirror, reflected massive mountains all around us and the lightning of nice houses around the fjord. It was like a tale ... 🥹🥰🙏 I highly recommend this excursion (with our without kayaking experience, these Guys teach you what you need, and you can rely on them in any case 🫶)
