Join Sami guides for an unforgettable experience of reindeer feeding and Sami culture. After meeting in the city centre and a 25-minute seaside drive, we arrive at the camp, where the reindeer will be waiting for you. At the camp, you will have the chance to feed the herd of around 300 reindeer that will swarm around and might even eat from your hands, and you will learn to use the lasso (but not on real reindeer). Inside a gamme, you will enjoy a traditional Sami meal cooked over the fire and warm drinks. A vegetarian / vegan / gluten free option is also available. After lunch, you will be invited into a lavvu and gather around the fire to listen to stories about Sami culture and how it is to be a reindeer herder. The Sami guide will also perform a joik (traditional Sami song) for the guests.
