Rafting in Valldal
Valldal is Norway's rafting valley. The Valldøla river drops through a string of rapids with grades to match every crew, from family floats on the gentle stretches to full-on whitewater higher up. Trips run daily through the season from bases in the valley, all gear included.
Best time: May to September; early summer meltwater gives the biggest rapids, late summer the warmest swims.
